the 4 pillars of sustainability. In practice, ECOQ™ is a
detailed schedule for the following:
- Planting
- Harvesting
- Milling
- Exporting
- Importing
ECOQ™ is Elan Organic
Coffees' commitment to quality coffees which are grown
promoting biodiversity and social excellence while working
towards strategic partnerships to createe profitability and
success for all producers and roasters from tree to cup.
ECOQ™ works with small farmers cooperatives as well as
larger farms from around the world. ECOQ™ is what has
evolved after 18 years working with cause-related coffees
and sourcing excellent coffees from around the world.
Participation in ECOQ™
requests that coffees from the program are labeled: Sourced
by Elan Organic Coffees ECOQ™ Certified. This is to ensure
quality and guarantee traceability from tree to cup. All
coffees are inspected yearly by an independent third party
auditor.
