We believe that social, environmental and economic sustainability are fundamental components of the journey from tree-to-cup.

Our definition of sustainability includes building and maintaining close working relationships with our partners at origin. We support organizations such as Coffee Kids and Grounds for Health that help improve the quality of life for those living in coffee communities.

Additionally we have bought mosquito nets to protect children in Africa from malaria and we funded a project in Rwanda to provide radios powered by a hand crank so that farmers could listen to agriculture programs, receive up to date pricing information as well as health and educational programs.

We also recognize the importance of supporting our local communities and make donations to charities in the US and Canada.
